- If you are going to leave the scene for more then sixty seconds then set your broadcast to offline
- You can not simultaneously stream to another service while you are streaming with us, it violates our streaming partners Terms of Service.
Ok! Now that the boring stuff is out of the way here are some tips for Web Caming for those of you who are new to this.
Your Camming Equipment
The first thing you should do once you’ve decided to become a camgirl is to make sure your equipment is adequate, meaning your computer and webcam. A laptop computer bought in the last few years should be suitable for camming, but the more powerful the CPU and RAM, the better. As for webcam devices, Logitech generally makes the best ones. The reason they’re great for webcam girl purposes is that the HD models have excellent video AND audio quality, so your viewers will be able to see and hear you great. Once you’re ready to start broadcasting as a cam model, you’ll need to know how to go about making your chatroom a fun place to be that attracts visitors. Being talkative and friendly always helps a lot. This brings us to the issue of tips. How do you get them to happen, and happen a lot? Well, tipping is actually somewhat complicated. You would think that just being a pretty girl who’s willing to flash and get naked on cam would cause people to start tipping readily. Nope, not that simple. Basically, viewers like to tip girls who they know and like.
The best way to make tips happen is to make your audience feel like they’re your pals. Viewers will tip you if they feel like you’re their friend — THAT’s when the serious tokens start to flow. Talking and joking around with them will begin the process, but there are also things you can do to engage them and keep their attention which will dramatically boost your ability to get them to tip and buy shows from you. With a bit of practice, you’ll be doing great in no time!
